Test Engineer

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems testing.
• Hands-on experience with requirements analysis and test design.
• Proven experience in preparing, automating, and executing test cases.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience in test reporting, defect analysis, and quality monitoring.
• Ability to independently own and drive testing activities for assigned functional areas.
• Good programming skills in Python and C/C++.
• Practical experience with CAN bus communication and CANoe.
• Experience with GitHub, Polarion, and JIRA.
• Basic knowledge of electronics.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
• Availability to work on-site in Kraków (90-100% office-based).

Optional

• ISTQB certification.

Your responsibilities

• Perform testing and validation of infotainment systems for commercial vehicles.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Design, automate, execute, and maintain system and integration tests.
• Develop and enhance automated test scripts using Python and C/C++.
• Report test results, analyze defects, and monitor product quality.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Take ownership of assigned functional areas, including test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities.
• Work with CAN bus communication and the CANoe testing environment.
• Manage source code and collaborate using GitHub.
• Utilize Polarion and JIRA for requirements management, test management, and defect tracking.
• Participate in vehicle testing activities and local test drives.
• Work in an Agile environment and cooperate with cross-functional international teams.
