Operating system

Our requirements

  • 5+ years shipping Unity projects – you’ve been through production hell and back
  • Networking mastery – Mirror, Netcode for GameObjects, Photon, or roll your own
  • WebGL battle scars – you’ve fought the memory heap, won against IL2CPP build times, and know all browser quirks by heart
  • UI Toolkit/UGUI expertise (pick one 😉) – can build responsive UIs that scale from mobile to 4K without breaking a sweat
  • Design patterns that actually work – not just book knowledge, but real implementations. Dependency injection, object pooling, ECS, when it makes sense
  • Version control beyond basics – Git LFS, resolving those dreaded prefab conflicts with your own branches 🫠
  • Can debug and read profiler data on-device – and actually know what to do with the results
  • Polish & English: minimum B2

Optional

  • XR experience – WebXR, OpenXR, XR Interaction Toolkit, hand tracking
  • Addressables mastery – content delivery at scale, proper bundle strategies
  • ML/AI in Unity – Sentis, Barracuda, or connecting to external AI services
  • Gaussian Splatting/NeRF – if you’ve implemented this in Unity, that's cool
  • Backend – can write the API that your Unity client talks to
  • Burst/Jobs System – you’ve actually used DOTS in production (and lived to tell the tale)
  • Custom render pipelines – modified URP/HDRP or written custom shaders that aren’t just “grabbed from AssetStore.”

Your responsibilities

  • Core Systems Architecture – Design and implement scalable systems for our Editor and Player runtime (Unity 6+, proven and stable solutions)
  • Networking & Multiplayer Magic – Build robust netcode using Firebase or Unity Gaming Services. We’re talking buttery-smooth sync, proper client-server architecture, and zero rubber-banding
  • Performance Optimization – Make Unity purr in browsers and mobile. Asset streaming, texture atlasing, draw call batching – the whole performance toolkit
  • Custom Editor Tools – Create inspector extensions, custom gizmos, and runtime manipulation tools that don’t make artists cry
  • Bleeding-Edge Features – Work with AI-driven frameworks, next-gen rendering, procedural animation systems, and Virtual Reality

About the project

We are building EduTailor.ai, a platform for creating immersive training without writing code. A non-technical person assembles the scenario, and our runtime delivers it wherever the learner happens to be.
The real engineering problem here is distribution. Most immersive training dies on the sentence "you need a headset and an IT ticket." Our application runs natively and streams to the browser, so the same scenario opens on a laptop in a meeting room and on a VR headset when the client has one. Holding both paths in a single codebase, at a stable frame rate, on hardware we do not control, is the core of this role.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary that matches your skills
  • Real Impact – shape architecture from MVP phase
  • Modern Office in Trójmiasto
  • Hybrid Model (4 Days Office, 1 Days Remote) and Flexible Hours
  • Latest Tech Stack – Unity 6, AI tools, VR

Benefits

  • sharing the costs of sports activities
  • flexible working time
  • integration events
  • coffee / tea
  • parking space for employees

About Us

Edutailor is an AI-powered XR platform for workplace training. It adapts to how each person learns, what they already know and how far they have got, so training stops being one course sent to everyone. No headset required: it runs in the browser, on the devices your people already have.
