Our requirements

  • Good programming skills in C, Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of core programming concepts and debugging techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems and the interaction between software and hardware.
  • Familiarity with Linux as a development environment.
  • Good experience with Git as a version control system.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Optional

  • Academic, personal, internship, or open-source projects involving embedded systems.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, development boards, or an RTOS, preferably Zephyr RTOS.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Implement features, fix bugs, and improve existing code.
  • Investigate software and hardware integration issues using logs, debuggers, and test equipment.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and hardware-related tests.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team planning.
  • Create clear technical documentation for implemented features and development processes.
  • Learn and follow good software development, testing, and security practices.

About the project

You will work on software for connected devices and Edge IoT Gateways used by customers across a variety of industries.
Depending on the project, you may contribute to microcontroller firmware, embedded applications, testing tools, or our Yocto-based Linux distribution, OrchestraOS.
