Our requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst within a software development environment, with hands-on responsibility for a product backlog.
  • Strong specification skills – able to turn unclear business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements that developers can implement and QA teams can validate.
  • Good understanding of data-driven products – comfortable working with data flows, integrations, data quality and reporting. Able to use SQL at a practical level to verify data and business rules.
  • Practical Agile experience – familiar with Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Jira. Able to keep delivery processes focused on actual outcomes.
  • Experience with legacy system transformation – you have worked on a migration, replacement or modernisation of an existing production system and understand the challenges of maintaining functional parity.
  • Fluent English – confident communicating with UK-based stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly organised and proactive – able to drive open topics to resolution, challenge incomplete requirements and document key decisions clearly.

Optional

  • Experience in automotive, automotive retail or aftersales.
  • Background in marketing automation, CRM or campaign management, particularly email/SMS campaigns, audience management, consent and GDPR.
  • Experience with multi-tenant B2B SaaS products or solutions requiring client-specific configuration.
  • Exposure to AWS, dbt, BI/reporting platforms or API integrations.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog – break down the transformation roadmap into actionable, clearly defined items with sufficient business and technical context.
  • Coordinate Agile delivery – facilitate refinement, planning, reviews and retrospectives while keeping the team focused and ensuring upcoming work is well prepared.
  • Define migration requirements – investigate existing functionality, establish the required level of parity and document edge cases and acceptance criteria for the new solution.
  • Plan releases around existing customers – collaborate with engineering on migration phases, release sequencing, cutovers, parallel operation and rollback considerations to minimise disruption.
  • Collaborate with UK stakeholders – work closely with product and commercial teams to gather requirements, identify trade-offs and communicate progress in clear business terms.
  • Represent the end user – understand how automotive dealer teams use the platform for campaigns, audiences, lead management and reporting, and ensure their priorities remain reflected in the product.
  • Drive acceptance and quality – coordinate UAT, monitor defects and data-quality concerns, and ensure release readiness is explicitly assessed before deployment.
  • Use AI to improve delivery efficiency – leverage Claude on a daily basis to investigate legacy functionality, develop and refine specifications, consolidate stakeholder feedback and prepare release documentation.
