Mid Automation Test Engineer

Our requirements

• Strong Python coding and experience with PyTest for test automation.
• Solid background in REST API automation with tools like Postman, Apidog or Insomnia.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems, Pub/Sub and replay/reprocessing patterns.
• Familiarity with GraphDB testing or extensive NoSQL DB testing.
• Good grasp of IAM concepts and access control models.
• Hands-on experience designing Jenkins pipelines and working with CI/CD environments.

Optional

• Exposure to Neo4j and Cypher queries.
• Knowledge of OPA/Rego for policy-as-code testing.
• Awareness of observability tools (logs, metrics, traces) in testing.
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad).

Your responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and suites for API, event-driven, and graph-based services using Python/PyTest.
• Define and execute test plans and data aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Validate IAM models (RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC/PBAC) and policy-as-code decision logic.
• Perform REST API automation, contract testing, and scenario replays.
• Validate graph data structures and event lineage, preferably using Neo4j.
• Ensure compliance by producing regulatory/traceability evidence and supporting test governance activities.
• Create/manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to streamline test automation within the delivery chain.
• Manage defects in JIRA/Zephyr and report progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate, innovate and improve processes.
