Our requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience with API testing (Postman or equivalent).
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Good understanding of web applications and networking, including CORS.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS, logging, debugging, and observability.
- Practical experience using AI tools for development and test automation.
- Ability to assess quality risks and confidently make release decisions.
- English: C1+
Optional
- Experience with contract testing.
- Experience building or improving test frameworks.
- Knowledge of New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, structured logging, or tracing.
- Experience working in small, autonomous product teams.
Your responsibilities
- Own product quality and contribute to go/no-go release decisions.
- Design and maintain E2E, API, and integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build and improve automated test coverage, with a strong focus on API and service-level testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI tools to generate and maintain tests while critically reviewing their quality and value.
- Create reliable test infrastructure, including test data, fixtures, and contract tests.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not the best solution.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to turn requirements into testable scenarios.
- Investigate production issues using logging and observability tools and feed findings back into the test suite.
