Our requirements

  • Practical experience developing APIs and backend components using Python.
  • Proven experience with Angular and TypeScript for frontend development.
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AWS services for application deployment, infrastructure provisioning and operations.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and artifact repositories.
  • Comfortable working in agile delivery teams and applying practices such as Scrum, Kanban, TDD and pair programming.
  • Strong command of English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex web frontends and backend services with a focus on scalability, maintainability and user needs.
  • Develop frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript, delivering responsive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Implement backend services in Python, including RESTful APIs, modular components and database integration.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitLab, Git, Docker, Kubernetes and Artifactory.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms and follow security best practices.
  • Contribute to test automation, including unit tests and end-to-end testing strategies.
  • Participate in agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban, and apply techniques like TDD and pair programming as appropriate.
  • Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS, collaborating with operations and DevOps colleagues.
  • Collaborate transparently with stakeholders, providing technical input for design and delivery decisions.

We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to join a cross-functional delivery team. The person in this role will contribute to the design, implementation, deployment and operation of scalable, user-centred web applications and backend services.
