TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Proven experience in mission-critical or banking environments
- Strong background in server-side installations on Windows and Linux systems
- Experience in installation, configuration, and management of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, preferably in clustered or high-availability setups
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across the entire stack: OS, network layers, databases, application servers, and enterprise applications
- Experience with Application Servers (JBoss, WebSphere), including JVM monitoring and performance tuning
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Unix Shell) for automation and operational efficiency
- Familiarity with containerized and orchestrated environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of security hardening, SSL/TLS management, reverse proxies, and access control mechanisms

Your responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
To strengthen our internal staff within the Delivery & Support Team, we are looking for a highly skilled Middleware Specialist with experience in banking or mission-critical environments.
The role is focused on ensuring the stability, resilience, security, and performance of enterprise middleware platforms. The ideal candidate is accustomed to operating in structured environments governed by strict SLAs, compliance requirements, and high-availability standards.
Candidates with prior knowledge in the field and at least 3 years of experience are preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise server performance across Windows and Linux platforms in high-availability environments
- Install, configure, and maintain middleware components including DBMS, Apache, Application Servers (JBoss and/or WebSphere), HAProxy, Docker, Kubernetes
- Design and validate resilient infrastructure architectures, ensuring proper capacity planning, scalability, and fault tolerance
- Contribute to the definition, testing, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
- Manage incidents end-to-end in compliance with ITIL practices, performing advanced troubleshooting across the full technology stack
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards typical of the financial sector
- Support and optimise continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring controlled, traceable, and secure deployments in production environments
- Collaborate closely with Security, Infrastructure, Development, and Compliance teams
