Data Analyst

Our requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot).
• Strong VBA development experience (macros, user forms, error handling, performance tuning).
• Data cleaning and validation expertise, with a solid understanding of data structures.
• Experience handling large datasets efficiently within Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
• SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools for data visualization.
• Basic Python or R skills for data analysis (a plus).
• Experience integrating Excel with external data sources (APIs, CSVs, databases).
• Understanding of financial, operational, or compliance reporting.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Develop, optimize, and document VBA macros and automation workflows to streamline processes.
• Transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets.
• Automate recurring reports, reconciliations, and data validation processes to reduce manual effort.
• Create advanced Excel formulas (e.g., Power Query, array formulas, dynamic ranges).
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and automation needs.
• Maintain version control, documentation, and best practices for spreadsheet solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Excel/VBA tools for performance and reliability.
