- Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer, minimum 5 years in C/C++
- Knowhow in DevOps/CICD, Git, Azure
- Team player and also able to work independently in a distributed, diverse collaboration environment
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Ability for fast learning
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Fluent English, German as an asset
Your responsibilities
- Development of new and legacy embedded software for ABB Excitation projects in C++
- Dealing with internal and external resources
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Working as a part of an agile software development team
- Specification, implementation, test and documentation of object-oriented real-time embedded software
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Collaborate with product and other software development teams
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
- Ensure software is updated with latest feature
