Our requirements
- Solid expertise in React, with deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and the DOM.
- Demonstrated experience delivering modern web applications in production.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous patterns, and integration practices.
- Experience with Git workflows including branching and merging.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and code optimisation.
- Working knowledge of Apollo (client & server), React Hooks, Webpack, SASS/SCSS.
- Good understanding of Node.js and GraphQL for production environments.
- Competency using automated testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Pact).
- Experience with Test Driven Development in a CI/CD pipeline.
Optional
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- Exposure to message-driven or microservice-based systems.
- Interest in UI/UX and design principles.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React-based applications, ensuring high performance and quality.
- Build reusable components and optimise user interfaces for speed and scalability.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and asynchronous data flows.
- Apply Test Driven Development practices to deliver robust and maintainable code.
- Work with QA teams to define test scenarios and support functional testing.
- Apply continuous integration and code quality processes using Git, Jest, Cypress, and Pact.
- Participate in incident coordination and triage analysis when required.
- Support product governance and compliance activities when introducing new features.
